Digify Bytes is a new nationwide digital literacy programme that has been commissioned by the British High Commission and aims to benefit youth, women, persons with disabilities, and the elderly across South Africa.
We work with trainers from each community to assist people across South Africa in understanding what skills they’ll need in order to use digital technology to their advantage. Digify Bytes participants learn how to use online technology to gain access to information, communicate with ease, and access services and opportunities online.
Access to digital skills and literacy remains a critical challenge for marginalized communities with many South Africans facing barriers like access to the internet, high data costs, and, most importantly, basic digital literacy. With an established trainer network across South Africa, Digify Bytes is positioned to provide digital literacy skills to your community.
